Coach OS Pro ("we", "us", "our") operates the Coach OS Pro mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use the App:

Account Information: Email address, display name, profile photo, and role (coach or athlete).
Coach Verification: Identity documents (CIN, passport, diplomas) submitted for account verification.
Banking Information: Bank name, RIB (account number), account holder name — only for coaches who choose to share payment info with their athletes.
Fitness Data: Workout logs, meal logs, body measurements, progress photos, supplement tracking.
Payment Records: Payment amounts, dates, methods, transfer references, and receipt photos — for tracking coach-athlete payments within the app.
Device Information: Device type, operating system, push notification tokens.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the App's functionality.
To verify coach identities and prevent fraud.
To facilitate coach-athlete connections and plan assignments.
To send push notifications (connection requests, payment confirmations, plan updates).
To process in-app purchases (subscriptions) via Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
To improve the App and provide customer support.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these limited cases:

Coach-Athlete Relationship: When an athlete connects with a coach, the coach can see the athlete's workout logs, meal logs, progress photos, and body metrics. Coaches can choose to share their banking info with connected athletes.
Service Providers: We use Supabase for data storage and authentication. Data is stored securely with row-level security policies.
App Stores: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We do not have access to your payment card details.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Coach-Athlete Payments

Important: Coach OS Pro facilitates payment tracking between coaches and athletes but does NOT process, hold, or transfer any funds between coaches and athletes. All payments between coaches and athletes (bank transfers, cash, mobile money) are made directly between the parties outside of our platform.

We are not responsible for:

Non-payment by athletes to their coaches.
Disputes between coaches and athletes regarding payment amounts, timing, or methods.
The accuracy of payment records entered by users.
Any financial loss resulting from coach-athlete payment arrangements.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including:

Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
Row-level security (RLS) in our database — users can only access their own data.
Secure authentication via Supabase Auth.
Private storage buckets for sensitive documents and receipts.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at contact@codevllc.com.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data.
Correct inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data.
Export your data.
Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the App or email.
